When combined and placed underneath our artificial grass, the shock pads create a safety surface. The tiles are made of polyethylene and should be used underneath a sand-infilled artificial grass surface, as the weight of the sand helps to hold the tiles together.

For areas where certification is not needed but a cushioned, safer surface is required (nursery gardens, domestic gardens, sensory areas) we have a 20mm or 10mm shock pad underlay. The underlay is made from recycled foam and has grid slits in it to allow flexibility underfoot; this means the foam stays soft and supple - not rigid.
